Obama as The Joker: Racial Fear's Ugly Face

Oh, the outrage. How dare someone to actually put Mr. Obama's visage on a poster depicting the hideous joker!

Yes, Phillip Kennicott at the Washington Post thinks this is simply despicable! According to his article, referenced in the post title,"why the anonymity? Perhaps because the poster is ultimately a racially charged image. By using the "urban" makeup of the Heath Ledger Joker, instead of the urbane makeup of the Jack Nicholson character, the poster connects Obama to something many of his detractors fear but can't openly discuss. He is black and he is identified with the inner city, a source of political instability in the 1960s and '70s, and a lingering bogeyman in political consciousness despite falling crime rates."

So, let me get this straight, this is okay,

As is this,

This is acceptable,

This is even clever,

As is this,

Oh yes, even this is not racial,

But somehow this, as compared to the above, is totally unacceptable after only six months of little hope and a whole lotta change...

Hey dufuss, both jokers are WHITE! So, get a life...I'll just call it O.J. (Obama Joker)

If you need more examples, google "Bush Joker"
