Democrats are preventing Republican House Members from sending their constituents a mailing that is critical of the majority’s health care reform plan, blocking the mailing by alleging that it is inaccurate. House Republicans are crying foul and claiming that the Democrats are using their majority to prevent GOP Members from communicating with their constituents. The dispute centers on a chart created by Rep. Kevin Brady (R-Texas) and Republican staff of the Joint Economic Committee to illustrate the organization of the Democratic health care plan.

At first glance, Brady’s chart resembles a board game: a colorful collection of shapes and images with a web of lines connecting them, but a closer look at the image reveals a complicated menagerie of government offices and programs that Republicans say will be created if the leading Democratic health care plan becomes law.

Rep. Brady adamantly denied that the chart was misleading and said Democrats are simply threatened by the content of the graphic. “I think their review was laughable,” Brady said. “It’s ... downright false in most of the cases. The chart depicts their health care plan as their committees developed it.”

Barack says we need to have a conversation about race in America. Fair enough. But this time, it has to be a two-way conversation. White America needs to be heard from, not just lectured to. This time, the Silent Majority needs to have its convictions, grievances and demands heard. And among them are these:

First, America has been the best country on earth for black folks. It was here that 600,000 black people, brought from Africa in slave ships, grew into a community of 40 million, were introduced to Christian salvation, and reached the greatest levels of freedom and prosperity blacks have ever known. Wright ought to go down on his knees and thank God he is an American.

Second, no people anywhere have done more to lift up blacks than white Americans. Untold trillions have been spent since the 60s on welfare, food stamps, rent supplements, Section 8 housing, Pell grants, student loans, legal services, Medicaid, Earned Income Tax Credits and poverty programs designed to bring the African-American community into the mainstream. Governments, businesses and colleges have engaged in discrimination against white folks -- with affirmative action, contract set-asides and quotas -- to advance black applicants over white applicants. Churches, foundations, civic groups, schools and individuals all over America have donated their time and money to support soup kitchens, adult education, day care, retirement and nursing homes for blacks.

We hear the grievances. Where is the gratitude???

Barack talks about new 'ladders of opportunity' for blacks. Let him go to Altoona and Johnstown and ask the white kids in Catholic schools how many were visited lately by Ivy League recruiters handing out scholarships for 'deserving' white kids? Is white America really responsible for the fact that the crime and incarceration rates for African-Americans are seven times those of white America? Is it really white America's fault that illegitimacy in the African-American community has hit 70 percent and the black dropout rate from high schools in some cities has reached 50 percent?

Is that the fault of white America or, first and foremost, a failure of the black community itself?

As for racism, its ugliest manifestation is in interracial crime, and especially interracial crimes of violence. Is Barack Obama aware that while white criminals choose black victims 3 percent of the time, black criminals choose white victims 45 percent of the time?

Is Barack aware that black-on-white rapes are 100 times more common than the reverse, that black-on-white robberies were 139 times as common in the first three years of this decade as the reverse?

We have all heard ad-nauseam from the Rev. Al about Tawana Brawley, the Duke rape case and Jena. And all turned out to be hoaxes. But about the epidemic of black assaults on whites that are real, we hear nothing.

Sorry, Barack, some of us have heard it all before, about 40 years and 40 trillion tax dollars ago.

Well, Social Security Administration did and they came out with,

Last week the Social Security Administration flew about 700 managers to Phoenix, Arizona’s Arizona Biltmore Hotel and Resort, for an “organizational training” session. The event, which included musical entertainment and dancing, skits, catered food, cocktails, and a “casino night” featuring “door prizes,” costing U.S. (as in United States and as in YOU and ME!) taxpayers approximately $750,000.

Just a few months ago the president called several company execs onto the carpet and warned them to "refrain from going to posh resorts for any meetings and conventions while their businesses were in the dumps" (my words, his thoughts). Now the United States Federal deficit is rapidly approaching $1 trillion (last month it surpassed $991 billion). The Congress and our President spent $787 billion dollars that has yet to be collected and is in “red ink.” Congress is spending money they don’t have to “stimulate” the economy, and the economy continues to sink.

I suggest you call your Congressman and Senators to let them know how you feel about this government "of the people peons", rather than "for the people"

Yes, Mr. VeeP It Is Beginning To Work !

The Rasmussen Reports recent poll results show a decided shift in public opinion in our nation. Just six months into the new administration, you know the one the media likened to the second coming of Christ, cracks are beginning to form in the publics opinion of the all Democrat administrtion. Among the findings are:

Thirty-six percent (36%) Strongly Disapprove of Mr. Obama's performance as president, compared to 28% who strongly approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President.

Fifty per cent 50% of voters oppose setting up a government health insurance company as President Obama and congressional Democrats are now proposing in their health care reform plan. Just 35% of U.S. voters now support the creation of a government health insurance company. Fifteen percent (15%) are undecided, and must be "moderates".

Fifty-one percent (51%) of Americans favor an across-the-board tax cut to stimulate economy, but, thirty-four percent (34%) oppose such a tax cut, and 15% are undecided, again those moderates just left outside in the dark!

Most voters (53%) believe increases in government spending hurt the economy, while just 27% now say increased government spending helps the economy, and 10% say it has no impact.

Seventy percent (70%) of Americans say the number of homeless families in the country will increase over the next year, while just seven percent (7%) expect that number to decline.

So there is still "Hope" in the future for America. Just hang in there and when elections come around in 2010, don't be left standing in the dark like those 15% of "I dunno" moderates.

Forced population control, forced sterilization and forced abortions whether it's wanted or not. A global armed force to enforce this in our own country with denationalization. Also tons of renowned and creditable scientists have gone on record and lists as claiming the global warming as a fraud. It is a Gore, Pelosi and several others we could name being an economic, political agenda. If not why have they invested so deeply in certain GREEN companies then trying to force through so many bills without allowing others to read them. What are they afraid of. The cap N trade bill will be the death of America's competitiveness on a global level. It's all fine and good to want to live in a perfect utopia but it isn't realistic either. This man has scary and invasive ideas. Just like Obama and Pelosi, Frank is an idiot and should be held responsible for financial demises. Reid is a lap dog. Wake up America. They are behaving like teenagers that just got the PIN code to their mother's credit card, but eventually we will pay up. Check the statistics, there is a reason that UTah and Nebraska are so much better off financially and crime wise, we are conservatives by nature. I didn't say Republicans, I said frugal, conservatives. We are selling our soul and land to China for loans and they have every interest in hi teching their country right into a war with us for all we do have. Who has huge coal deposits, oil (that they would be happy to drill for and use)? Wake up America, it's coming toward us like a freight train."

In Just 100 Days . .

He must have meant, we're gonna put as many on government assistance as possible, so they are solely dependant on the government for subsistence. Hence assuring Democrat weighted elections for the foreseeable future.

"We must pass this important bill to assure the unemployment rate will not reach the eight per cent level." ~ President Obama prior to passing the almost trillion dollar ($875,000,000,000.00) spending package.

Unemployment in June reached 9% nationally with California's reaching 12% and Michigan's reaching a record high 15%.

Now, the president is calling for another stimulus package...probably anticipating another 10 to 15% more government teat suckers.
